One Team - Leavenworth Kansas 5K for Fisher House

On April 10th, 2010, “One Team” in conjunction with the Leavenworth Parks and Recreation Office, will hold its first annual 5K Race for Fisher House. The race will utilize the Three Mile Creek Trail in downtown Leavenworth. “One Team” is a small group of military supporters who are extremely grateful for the sacrifices our nation’s young men and women make in service to their nation. The Leavenworth Parks and Recreation Office has been an ardent supporter of this effort and will be side by side with “One Team” to ensure a safe and successful race.

Online race registration begins February 1st.  The race registration fee is $25, which includes a Fisher House t-shirt.  Registration will close at 150 runners, so register soon!

Make a donations to support Fisher House Foundation through the One Team Campaign. For every dollar donated, 97 cents goes directly toward Fisher House Foundation's efforts to help military families in their greatest time of need. Fisher House Foundation is a not-for-profit organization under section 501 (c)(3) of the IRS code. Donations are tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law. "One Team" is committed to raising at least $5,000 for Fisher House at the Leavenworth 5K.
